i play very aggressive woodsball and speedball. i didnt want to spend alot of money. im tall and i run alot, so im 6'3 and my waist is only 32-34 depending on pants. got the medium, fit great, well long enough and waist is just right. lots of padding in knees, altho i would still use/recommend knee pads for safety reasons. i was concerned about crotch padding as it doesnt advertise it has any. there is a good amount of padding tho around the zipper right infront of where your "stuff" is, whether your a girl or guy, it has adequate protection in that area. adjustable waist with velcro and length and tightness at ankles. all and all, great pants for the price. if your a avid weekend warrior like myself, whether aggressive front player or back player, these pants are well worth the price. throw some shorts on underneath with some cheap or expensive knee pads, your good to go in comfort and protection. no downsides. buy it.
