Good amount of padding, comfortable to wear for the most part, protects from slamming your shins into obstacles/tree trunks. The problem I've been having is that the entire pad tends to slip down below the knee and makes it uncomfortable to play. Valken needed to add another strap just above the calf to keep them from migrating south on the knee. I might be the pants I'm wearing (Raven Tournament pants), but it's a little bothersome to have adjust so much.

These pads are awesome if you want all around leg protection. They have a ton of thick padding, a durable material, and mesh on the back side to keep you cool. I would recommend these pads.
Great Padding...if it would stay put.
