it doesn't really make sense to me why its so large, it doesn't need to be. the trigger guard is really the only properly sized thing on this, everything else could be ~10% smaller. This does work on ion XE's and the screws it comes with work great on the xe. just I had to cut the middle part of my grips out to have them fit, so they're no longer wrap around grips.
also one of the grip screw holes had the threads strip out on me, not sure if it was my fault or a defect.
the frame is actually longer than the stock body kits, so be prepared for it to look kinda dumb...

Hi everyone I am just tellin you that this frame is very nice. There is only a couple problems with it. The trigger pin it comes with is too small and slides out of the gun. Also the frame is much bigger than stock but it also feels nicer in your hand. So take your pick bigger frame or better feel. Definately feels great if you have bigger hands.

Great frame...for a back player

This frame is really nice and well made. I didn't have any issue swapping my components over. I did not try to put in a trigger but QEV, board, and everything else went in without any trouble at all.
My only issue with this frame is that it is considerably larger than the stock and other frames I have seen. Weight-wise it isn't that big of a deal, however, profile wise...I am a front player and I was somewhat disapointed at how big this was. And I am not sure that it needs to be. Now, I am definately a form guy and will buy a backplate for my loader just so it matches my color scheme. However, form should never, ever trump function and I am not sure why they had to make this so darn big.
In the end, I would DEFINATELY recommend this to someone who is not overly concerned with size. It is terribly comfortable in the hand and installs without any issue at all. But, if you are overly anal like me, you may want to try to check one out in person before buying.
