These gloves are really stiff when you wear them in the beginning. But after a while, they become flexible.....kind of like breaking in a new pair of shoes. They offer pretty good protection and don't slide around. The only down side is they're kind of hard to take off or put on because they don't have a velcro strap on the wrist. Other than that, these gloves are very solid and you can't beat the price.

These are definitely a great pair of gloves. My first game with them got hit right off the thumb, their not really padded still helps protect your hands. my only reason why they are not rated a 4 is that the wrist of the glove stretched over the 7 months i have had them and they are a little lose.
