The Luxe Power Core 2.0 Upgrade Kit upgrades the internals of your Luxe or Luxe 1.5 to the new and improved Luxe 2.0 internals. This quick and easy drop in kit drastically increases the performance of an already great paintball gun.

Easy access fire chamber - The easiest to maintain luxury paintball marker just got even easier! The Luxe power core still provides the fastest access to both the bolt and valve system of any tournament marker. New cut-outs in the Luxe 2.0 fire chamber increase staged gas volume to protect against shoot-down while providing easier access to the chamber's internal o-rings.

Bolt Return Spring - Inside the nose of the Luxe 2.0 bolt is a small spring which stores excess energy from the bolt's return stroke and releases it right when it is needed, as the bolt overcomes friction to begin its forward motion. The result is an immediate reduction in first-shot drop.

The 2.0 bolt is no better than the 1.0 bolt.

1. The o-rings are a lot tighter and it is easy to snag them and cut them while sliding into the back of the marker. Make sure you twist it and slowly put it in or it will damage the o-rings and you will have leaks.

2. The dwell for the 2.0 needs to be much higher. I run my stock 1.0 bolt at 9 ms with no bolt stick or FSDO. With the 2.0 I need to run my dwell at 16 just to get the bolt to cycle.

3. The FPS on the 2.0 was much lower than on the 1.0 I had to up my reg a bit to get to 280 and it was noticeably louder and kickier.

4. It is a waste of money if you already have a luxe 1.0 or 1.5. You will get no gains at all. This is only for getting rid of bolt stick. You can simply spring mod your 1.0/1.5 bolt to get rid of bolt stick and not have all the issues that come with the 2.0 bolt.

I have warned you - do not believe the hype of 12 year old kids who have to have the newest and latest.

Installed the new cores in two 1.0 Luxes. Have had good results and was able to turn dwell and first shot drop settings down.

Much much easier to clean and lube.

So i got this as a Christmas gift and so far its been pretty good. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play with it but I have shot about a case through it.

It is a definite upgrade from the stock luxe 1.0 bolt I was using. I was having bolt stick issues and fsd issues. As soon as I put this in my marker I set the dwell to 8 and the fsd to 0. It shot good but unfortuantely that did not last. It was shooting at a low fps so all I did was raise the velocity but I was still expierencing fsd. I raised the fsd up to stock 1.0 settings (14 if im correct) and still had fsd. It may be because of the winter climate but I shot it inside and it still did this.
I have also found out that the stock fsd setting for the dlx luxe 2.0 is 20ms which is a bit higher then a 1.0. So far i do like it but I dont think it was enough to completely blow me away.
Hopefully this changes once the weather gets alot warmer.
