The bag is nice. I would say when comparing the dye backpacker, dye weekender, explorer and navigator; the weekender is basically just a backpacker with wheels and a handle on it. The description is not 100% accurate, I ordered mine 5-2013 and mine did not have a separate shoe compartment. The weekender is just one big compartment, with four outside large pockets.
If you plan on putting guns/gear in the bag i would not purchase this bag. I purchased the weekender after being so impressed with my navigator. I was going to buy a explorer to go with my Nav but the 2 halves and the explorer would not fit in my car together.
As a bag for clothing, laptop, personal items the weekender is a great bag!! As for a main gear bag i would not recommend this bag.
The Navigator is a great gear bag, and the Explorer is a great alternative.

Great gear bag for the non serious paintballer. It has enough room to fit about a set of gear and a little extra. If you are deciding on this and something else definitely go with this.

if you are somebody lime me that goes very weekend or so and only brings one pair of gear, this is perfect. All of those other gear bags are ment to hold multiple sets of gear. For only ninety dollars, this bag should be worth 125. But I'm not complaining. I can hold pants, jersey, cleats, pod pack, 3 extra pods, mask, gun, hopper, tank, squeegees, and lube. Also, it has a handle that goes up to my stomach and I'm about 5 5'. Hope this review helped tell you that if you have o e set of gear, look no further.
