These pants were constructed with the hardcore paintball player in mind. The player that is out there practicing on both days of every weekend, running drills during the week, rain or shine. You need a pant that can be there with you every step of the way. Contact pants are the choice of many top pros including LA Infamous, San Diego Dynasty, Avalanche, Entourage, XSV and Vicious. The Contact line was developed to protect and enhance your paintball experience. We have refined our patterns and sizing for a truer fit. Features

Hip slide pads re-designed for 2011 - Whether you are the guy running out to the corners or the snake on the break, our all new Slider Hip pads will keep you from limping off the field. These built in pads keep the raspberries in the produce department, not on your hips. The self-contouring design rises above the waistline to cover your hipbones from any harm.
An Empire innovation, a built-in microfiber cloth on a bungee so you can never lose it!
New waist adjustment system for 2011. Gone are the days of the annoying plastic clip.
Wide hole belt loops! Rock your belt and promote your own fashion.
Pre-curved Dual density knees. The most technically advanced & protective knee on a paintball pant, period!
Em-Flow air intakes in the front and output in the rear. Heavy duty lilac mesh construction for durability and breathability.
CB groin padding. A MUST have!
Neoprene covered zippers. Keeps the dirt out and paint away.
Dual density, reinforced pad zones on shin and side of knees, because not all sliding happens directly on your knee.
Newly designed padded rear lumbar panel. Rubberized pop outs hold your harness in place and the lumbar pad helps cushion the weight of the pods against your lower back.
Dual swab packets placed for quick usage.
Triple stitched double mesh liner for a cool and comfortable fit.
We created and perfected the 4-way stretch panels. These panels over the knee give so your pants stay where they should.
Airmesh panels in the crotch area to vent heat and moisture. No swamp brewing in there.
Cinch cord leg cuffs because we know not everybody is the same height.

Purchased these in October 2011 from the local field, a week or two before they close. Went to 2 tournaments in the off season, one in December and one in March. They were already ripping at the crotch and one of the knees' stitching is falling apart. I wish i would have waited to get the 2012's instead.
One of the few pluses i found was that they do have good ventilation, but the good pretty much stops there.

Ive been playing tournament paintball for 10 years now and these are the best pants I have ever had. Im an aggressive front player and Ive went through many pairs of pants in the last 10 years, and these are by far the best quality I have ever had. They run a bit small. Everything on these pants is top quality! They are worth every penny!

these pants were good but they lack stretchy material in the crouch and mine ripped with me only wearing them i would buy somthing elese bc their is better pants out their. but empire was really good i contacted tem and they sent me a new pair free

Ive had several pair of empire pant over the years,most were good pants, but these were the worst pants ive ever worn. Empire failed to put any stretch material in the crotch area,which i cant understand why they did that. These pants feel like your playing in tight blue jeans they are very restrictive,freedom of movement is non existent.I would not recommend these pants

My 09 EMPIRES did work but they became my practice pants after i saw these. The padding is great. Their a very light yet pro set of pants. You will never be disappointed with any thing EMPIRE and they certainly didnt let me down again. MUST BUY
