I chose this one over the smoke and couldn't be happier. You won't be playing night games with it but you can still see clearly on overcast days. When the mask is on people cannot see behind the lens. Adds to the intimidation factor of noobs.

This is a great lens. It's not as dark as as a ninja but still dark enough to hide your face from the sun. It's not so dark that you need to swap it out if it gets cloudy or overcast. I've worn mine in all weather conditions. Would highly recommend.
