Description

The PROMASTER™ is a high quality marker specially designed to meet the needs of the professional style tournament player. The PROMASTER™ is an electronic solenoid actuated computer controlled marker. The major components of the PROMASTER™ are machined from solid, aircraft-grade aluminum, and then hard anodized. No castings are used in the construction of the PROMASTER™ , thereby providing the end user with a high-quality, precision-engineered marker.

Paintball markers get a lot of abuse. Indian Creek Design, Inc., has designed the PROMASTER™ with this in mind. All internal parts, wear and contact surfaces have been heat treated or hard anodized. The toughest and most resilient materials and components have been used in the design of this product.

The PROMASTER™ uses a single standard 9-volt battery for operation. The circuitry is a microprocessor based digital controller.

The PROMASTER™ operates on low-pressure. The main operating pressure is 250-300 PSI nominally adjusted to visually via the gauge on the primary (input) regulator. The secondary pressure is factory pre-set and regulated to 85-95 PSI. Gas usage is controlled through these 2 internal regulators. A unique feature of this marker is the regulator adjustment. This allows precise adjustment for the velocity control of the marker and for optimal gas efficiency.

ASA and On/Off are not included with the marker.

Features
  • Dual gauge block and micro gauges for LPR (Low Pressure Reg) and HPR (High Pressure Reg)
  • Custom anodized Vigilante HPR (different design than the other ICD markers)
  • Speed Ramp Teflon bolt with curved top to further reduce paint breakage. Bolt also has ball detent grooves and bolt can be removed without having to entirely pull out the bolt pin
  • Smooth low profile lightweight body
  • Dust finish fade anodizing
  • New style LPR housing and Ram Cap have Quick Clean grooves. The grooves make it much easier to do disassembly by hand, but also wipe clean with a finger tip. When playing X-ball you don't want to spend hours getting paint out of every nook and cranny
  • Low rise feed neck
  • New trigger
  • New board functionality - far more adjustment possibilities including multiple firing modes and adjustable "debounce"
  • Cut out in the grip frame to allow you to put the battery in without removing the frame side. (need to use metal sleeved brand name batteries like Duracell and Energizer, some rechargeable batteries have a thick plastic casing on the batteries that makes installation and removal tight)

NICE February 3, 2008
Reviewer: m from , CA United States
This gun has great value and new upgrades from the stock promaster. It is very fast and it can keep up with the most expensive guns. I find promasters easy to maintain and use. The lasoya comes with upgrades like a new board, regulator, bolt, milling, colors, and  a new ram cap. The new board is better than the stock promaster one and it is way more adjustable. The reg is a very consistant air america one, but a new evil detonator is a good new up to get. The bolt has detent slots and a small ramp at the top so it does not clip the next ball. the milling is easier to clean and it has fade colors. This is a great variation os the ICD promaster

promaster February 1, 2008

This was my second gun that i got awhile ago. It is a pretty good gun for the price, especially for a beginner or intermediate player. It is nice that this gun has an lpr. Make sure you know how to balance regulators before you get this gun though. It is very consistent, but I did not like the trigger very much. Some people like it, but I would recommend the custom products trigger, but thats just me personally. Overall, it is a decent gun for a beginner or intermediate player, 4 stars overall.

Great gun, very tough January 12, 2008
Reviewer: brando2569 from cali
This gun is very tough, I have taken this thing to hell and back and it still shoots, just recently sold it to my brother, he loves it. in the 50+ times ive played with it ive lubed it maybe twice which is terrible you should never neglect a marker like that but I just got lazy, anyways it still shoots perfectly!!  trigger looks a little weird but its very nice once you use it, and the stock board is awesome. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 because it  is a little heavier than most this size and disassembly of the ram is a real pain. The bolt pops out very easily but to get to the ram it will take you a while.  one more thing is that if you reach speeds in excess of 24 bps it has a tenancy to chop paintballs but that only happens when your playing around with it not in a real game.  it was hard for me to give it a 4, but I had to because of the whole disassembly thing.  for the price though its hard to beat and will last you a lifetime if taken care of.
