I find the 9oz tank great for autocockers converted to pumps. It only weighs about 1 lb and 9 oz when full compared to a 45/4500 which is at least 2 lbs empty and over 3 lbs when it is full. I am able to get a whole bag of paint on one fill with my pump converted 2005 WGP Superstock without drop off. Put some athletic tape at the back of the tank, and it makes for an adequate stock. I would recommend an anti-siphon kit, which should run around $10 installed at your local shop.

Its always good to have a co2 tank around even after you have graduated to HP. In all honesty get this and an anti siphon head and you could have a decent backup if your hp tanks go south. But if your going to bother with a co2 tank you should just go big.
Most places make you pay by the tank fill so go get your moneys worth with the biggest.
