The new ANS Xtreme Blackout tank is one of the lightest and most adjustable air systems to ever hit the paintball market.  The ANS adjustable regulator with Inocom tank gives you the perfect mix of a light and compact system with the adjustability you need.  The regulator adjusts your output pressure from 850 to 450 or even 650 PSI!

The 48CI complete system weighs in at only 2.07 pounds and is a total length of 9.5 inches.  This tank and regulator combination is designed so well and durable that you will receive a FULL 5 Year Manufacturer Warranty Direct Through ANS.   Let’s see someone else stand behind their tank like that!  The bottle is also certified for 5 years which means you have a while before you need to even think about hydro testing.

The ASTM compliant (F2030, F2653-07, F1750-05) regulator is proud to be machined, tested and assembled in the United States.  This easily serviceable regulator features a durable brass bonnet to eliminate wear or chips on the threads of the tank.  The regulator comes with a standard output of 850 PSI but can easily be changed to either 650 or 450 PSI.  The blackout system comes with unique all black fittings which include a black gauge, fill nipple and burst disks.  

ANS has gone above and beyond the safety standards of the industry to bring you the safest paintball regulator to ever hit the market.  The one piece burst disks are all ASTM compliant, DOT guideline assembled and DOT guideline tested.  The regulator stem has multiple 3 pressure releases which takes the safety of the system to the next level.  First, we have two pressure release grooves on the regulator stem designed to release air pressure from the bottle if it would ever start to unscrew.  Second, we have a unique bleed hole in the regulator stem which will allow the tank to safely vent in case of any mishap.  Finally there is a restrictor at the base of the regulator to ensure the regulator can be safely removed from the tank.  

The regulator is built with all urethane o-rings to ensure long life on all seals and moving parts.  The blackout gauge has a pressure fit snubber to protect the gauge from rapid fill and has a safety bleed hole to ensure the safety of the overall tank.  The blackout fill nipple is hardened to ASTM standards and has been plated to resist corrosion and wear.

Each complete air system goes through rigorous testing to ensure they meet both DOT and ANS quality and performance standards.  To start, each regulator is assembled and tested with 4500 PSI of air and checked for leaks.  Then the regulator is assembled to the cylinder with OEM application sealant equipment.  Each cylinder is both torque tested and reverse torque tested to ASTM break away torque requirements.  

This complete air system gets an average of 900 shots per full fill depending on the gun, the way it is setup and the output pressure of the tank.  The shot average has been calculated by measuring the total number of shots attained by running an array of markers with stock manufacturer settings.

Power in a Tank February 8, 2009

This tank is extremely easy to adjust the output pressure and is very reliable.  I have let the tank sit for months at a time unused and it has held pressure with just a hundred or so pressure loss the whole time.  Worth while investment for any gun owner.

this tank has a good regulator and hpa is 10X better than co2. this will help you gun efficance ALOT and its accuracy too. soo if you have the money thiswould be the good thing to get. but thats the problem for most younger players it cost alot of money to my suggestion would be to wait and save you will be in a much better position in paintball if you do... so wait!

I ordered this tank in December 2008.  It is as light as the other tanks out there.  My buddy hasn't experienced any problems using it on a NXT shocker shooting PSP ramping at 15bps on an Xball field.  The option to adjust the pressure will come in handy should you ever need to lower your pressure for other markers.  Lastly, a free NXE cover is always nice and shipping is fast even to us ballers in the south pacific.

this tank is great, I have played with it for about 3 months now, it has not had and problems and the recharged rate is great.  it makes your guns profile a lot smaller and liter, great for front players.  If you are a front player you should get one, you will love it
