If you have a skinny body and not a bulky or a big body, then this thing will slide up and down with no support but the only strap and clip that is at the bottom.

Bought this vest on sale for under $30. Takes a day of play to break in. Light weight (i only carry my take on the back so far), and comfortable. I'm 5'7' and got a s/m size which fits fine. One thing to expect is that the vest only goes down to your upper stomach area, so watch out for belly shots. You get some good bounces of direct hits. I don't even feel them at times. The only negative i have is that it can ride up on you while running if you don't have the belt loops attached. But this only happen during full sprints.
