Should be called the "Dye Disappointment Bag" May 1, 2016

The Dye downfall continues.

I have the original Navigator bag (purchased in 2007) that's wearing out, so I bought the new Navigator 2.5, thinking it would be as amazing as my older Nav.  How wrong I was.  It holds half as much gear as my old Navigator does.  It's smaller and lacking half of the compartments that the older bag had.  The bottom protection of the Navigator bag is laughably lacking in regards to the quality/design of its scuff guards and structure support, and the wheels are too small/smooth on the Nav 2.5 as well.  Trying to roll this thing across a gravel parking lot while packed with gear is going to be a nightmare.  Yeah, the fact that you have an integrated backpack into your bag is awesome, but that's it.  I sent mine back for a full refund, and will continue to buy Empire and Planet Eclipse gear exclusively until Dye gets its act together and makes products worth buying again.

Dye Navigator 2.50 S March 28, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
If your a fan of the older Navigator and are thinking about this one, think again! While Dye has streamlined the Navigator and made it extremely airport freindly, they have also skimped out on a lot of features.

First off, this bag is a LOT smaller then its older sibling, almost half the capacity. Also, Dye has removed a lot of the padding and reduced a lot of the compartments that were on the older bag. While the new handle is great the zipper that connects the two halfs is a pain to zip, don't expect to be able to zip it togeather when you have it full of gear.

Dye had the chance to make this the ultimate gear bag by making some simple changes from the 2011 version but completely blew it, while at the same time increasing the price.

If you travel a lot for paintball and like to pack light, this is the bag for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a getter and cheaper bag.
