Got this a few weeks ago, and I dont know if they are really DYE or a rip off brand. Came in a tiny zip lock bag, not the DYE packaging, had no DYE logo on either side, and no mounting screws. I bought an 'authentic' DYE mini a few years ago, and it was packaged in their plastic case and came with mounting screws.

Dye Drop Fowards

I don't know why Dye even made this. If drop forwards are meant to be used so the tank literally "drops forward", why did Dye make a drop forward that does not fit either aluminum or CF tanks? Makes no sense to me. I got it thinking that it'd fit my tanks, but now I'm just keeping it for when I use it with my remote lines, seeing how there is no point shipping it back for a refund when I live all the way in Canada.

Its a nice heavy duty drop. It did not come with mounting screws though. Not to mention the price dropped $1, 2 days after I bought it.

This is a great item to get for your marker. The Dye drop is probably either #1 or #2 in my opinion about the best drop forward. It depends on what looks you like of course and how far you need to drop your tank. But that is up to the buyer and you should take measurements and make sure you know which size to buy either the standard or mini. But as far as manufacturing and materials used this drop is top quality. You wont find many more durable at this weight.
