This tank cover does exactly what it needs to- protect the tank and keep it snug in your shoulder. Yes there is some exposed velcro, however, I had no problems with it. It stays on the gun without slipping, and has been a great buy for me.

This tank cover delivers exceptional protection and grip interface. The zipper is nice but it can still scratch the tank. Although this tank cover does a great job of staying in my shoulder when I pull my gun up it snags my jersey because there is a piece of exposed Velcro that is used to keep the sipper cover open when taking the tank out of the cover. Probably can be solved with a wrist band over it, but it was shor sight that is destroying my most beloved jersey when I use this tank cover. In terms of using as only a protective cover, an A+. Be wary of exposed Velcro!
