This is a great board and well worth the price. The reviewer who said it is made of plastic is wrong, the thing is metal. Get your eyes checked. Also, the screen is place in a much better position than the virtue board and the installation is a lot easier. The D-Pad works great, it has a great sound signature. Plenty of firing modes, profiles and various settings. This will take your mini/axe and take it to the next level. It will also turn a few heads with the way it looks. Just overall makes the gun feel a lot more solid and comfortable to operate.

Last time I use ANSgear

I was not really too impressed as the frame is all plastic. I read the manual, which is a trick since it is on a mini-CD and my Mac didn't want to read it. I put the ball on my gun and try to simply shoot it. Nothing happens. I remove and reseat the grip, still nothing. I re-read the manual, reinstall the grip, nothing. So, I call ANS (what company DOESN'T have a toll-free number these days???) and I go through the number-punching and am greeted by what sounds like a 13-year-old girl. I tell her the above, and she quickly tells me that there is nothing that they can do since I "installed" the board and that they won't help at all and I have to go through Empire. I tell her that the board is contained in the grip and that I never touched the board. Doesn't matter, call Empire, we can't help you. I have purchased several thousands of dollars of equipment through ANSgear, but never again. I don't care if I have to use eBay, the customer service is at least a whole lot better there!

If you already have a 14 inch barrel and an aftermarket bolt on your axe, adding this takes a $500 marker and makes it a $1200 marker. The only issue I have is with the indent on the front (it's uncomfortable)...but if you wear gloves, what does it matter? Overall, if you have the Axe and you have the money, buy this.

Hit and miss

Honestly, I don't believe this was worth the money. I picked it up from my local store the day it came out. It didn't really perform as well as I thought it would, and when it costs about 60% of what the gun itself costs, it better be good. For 180$, you can get a virtue OLED board for the axe, which has plenty more firing modes, better battery life, and an additional training mode (I dont really use it). I was looking forward to this product, but it was a Hit and Miss for me.
