These pods are in fact very durable, I haven't had the issues with the lids that other people have had but I will say that I wasn't a fan of the texture of the material used. These pods are very smooth to the touch and they just don't feel as nice in your hands as traditional pods do. Would I recommend them? Honestly I don't think I would.. you're better off with regular pods or lock lids if you want to spend the extra money.

While they are very very durable which is a bonus the lid is absolute garbage. I've had numerous pods dump on me while trying to grab them out. It just won't stay closed. I've had proto pods and they never dumped on me. Other than that fact they are better than your no name pods.

so far no broken lids! however the pins tend to come loose. i put a dab of superglue on the ends of the hinges and no issues.

these pods are junk. yeah they can withstand a shotgun blast but the lids never stay closed. If you stuff your pods like everyone in the paintball world does to keep them from rattling the lid pops open if you breath on it. Had a bunch of these at HB and no one on my team wanted to use them.

Let me first say I read the reviews before I bought these pods. I was skeptical after reading reviews. Knowing I was going to play tomorrow all day at least 10 games. I decide to buy them and try them out. I must say I was impressed how much abuse they take. Last weekend had 2 of my older generic pods break on me, the lid part. These GI pods I tosted them around the dirt and threw them around in the field and non broke on me. I'm going to buy another set now.
