i go i the woods and kill deer and squirrel with this gun. It is amazing i tried to go to the paintball field but got hurt really bad ,but i shot someone and they got hurt and told me to stop camping.

This thing is cool, but don't shoot it at someone 7 feet away. I shot my friend in the hand from 7 feet away and now his thumb needs surgery and he is crying. I'd recommend getting your son/daughter the Dye DAM as a beginning marker.

I'm 18, got my youngest brother the JT splatmaster shotgun w/ the bunkers. He loves it. And we all like playing, even my mom has played. When he is old enough he will play real paintball like his family. he knows it's painful because we show him our paintball marks and bring him to our tournaments.

I would never start out with splat master at 100 fps(feet per second) start them out at your local feild and let them get used to the pain.never start them with this because they get used to the small amount of pain then go up to 300 fps then they think it sucks and they don't want to do it anymore. Kids are the future if this sport so let them just feel the pain and advance the sport of paintball. If your looking for a good cheap starter gun go with a tippmann a5. I love mine
