Good Bolt |

TechT has always put out some of the highest quality paintball gear, and the DP L7 bolt is no exception. If your g3 has the stock board with not too many adjustments that can be made, then i wouldn't recommend this bolt for you. You need to tweak some settings a little to get this bolt to fire efficiently and consistently. I use this with my APE board and now my G3 shoots like putting a knife through warm butter. Nice and easy.
Good job TechT and great shipping and service ANSgear!
Thank You

Great upgrade |

The bolt is a nice upgrade if you've got the money. It will erase any kick that you may have had with your g3 before. The bolt is lighter and allowes greater airflow, but it is not a must have. The stock bolt is already super light and doen't really chop paint. If you are a perfectionist or simply hate that your little cannon has a barely noticable kick then get it you'll love it.

A nice addition |

The L7 bolt for the G3 is by no means a required upgrade. The fact is, there's not much wrong with the stock bolt.
However, it did help to fix my G3's terrible trigger bounce. Since the L7 is quite a bit lighter than the stock piece, there's less reciprocating mass. But I also got a little extra.
Inspired by a rumor, I took a cheapo dB meter and measured the sound pressure difference between the L7 and the stock bolt. As it turns out, the L7 is about 5 dBA quieter than the stock unit. Not a huge amount, but certainly a bonus.
I also noticed that I was able to get an extra pod or so out of a full tank. So not only did if fix my bounce, but it helped to shut up the (rather loud) g3 as well as go a little farther on a tank of gas.
And if you've heard a rumor about them breaking, have no fear: Todd from TechT has addressed the issue by releasing the V2, which fixes the previous failings that were apparently occasionally present on certain bolts.

I am happy with this bolt but I seem to be chopping more paint since I changed it out. My field has been changing paint manufacturers lately so the paint is still in prototype phase so that might be the problem. It is only like 3 breaks out of 1000 instead of the 1 I had before. I still recommend this bolt highly!!!
