The Lightening rod is worth buying. If you buy the techt housing for it as well you'll even have a spare o ring designed for it!

flawless performance

I got the whole cyclone kit from techt, and this is one of the major components to make it function right. A couple times I had to replace the stock one and I said that it was enough after the third time. I bought this lightning rod and wow, it has performed flawlessly, even though I only have put 2 cases in it so far. I don't think I will be buying any more replacement parts for the cyclone in a long time.
Worth it.
