We are excited to release the new U.S. Army Paintball gun - Project Salvo...an exciting new marker from U.S. Army Paintball featuring a six position collapsible and foldable stock, an AR-15 style shroud with four built-in Picatinny rails and a new AR-15 style magazine that doubles as a helpful toolkit. The marker also incorporates a flat-top Picatinny rail built into the receiver, which makes it simple for players to quickly add a handle, site, scope or a variety of other modifications. The Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball gun is highly upgraded and is sure to turn heads on the field. As an added benefit, the Tippmann Project Salvo paintball gun can be easily enhanced with an eGrip™ as well as several other performance upgrades from the Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series, including: the Cyclone Feed System, Response Trigger and Flatline barrel. Much like Alpha Black, the name selected for this new marker is rooted in U.S. Military history. Project Salvo was a series of tests conducted by the U.S. Army's Operations Research Office (ORO) from the mid to late 1950s. The research obtained through Project Salvo helped lead to the development of the AR-15, which would go on to become the M-16 - widely considered among the most respected and proven rifles ever utilized by the United States armed forces. Overall, the Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball Gun is great for any Beginner to Intermediate paintball player and with a few select upgrades will be a great gun for even the most advanced paintball player.

I started out with this gun and it is good for a beginning player. All of the parts are either metal or composite and the bolt doesn't cause to much kick. Also if you learn to use it properly, you can crank your shots up to 12+ BPS. Magazine is cheap and hex screws and wrenches damage moderately easy. The marker itself is pretty heavy for woodsball, but it is something that you can adjust to. Recommend taking off the stock and the picatini rail system to reduce weight. Overall good beginner marker and recreational woodsball gun.

I HATE THIS GUN MY FRIEND BOUGHT THIS GUN AND ALL THE O RINGS CAME DAMAGED IT WILL GO OFF RANDOMLY AND WILL TRY TO SHOOT 2 BALLS AT ONCE BUT CANT DO IT SO I JUST DAMAGES YOUR GUN MORE SAVE YOUR MONEY SAVE YOUR MONEY AND ALSO SAVE YOUR MONEY

Great gun pretty accurate for woodsball lots of rails for stuff and the collapsable stock but a little heavy to carry around for over 3 hours but over all pretty good gun

Okay, but buy extra bolts and springs.	December 7, 2012

I like the us army series generally well, but this gun and the alpha black are exactly the same so dont fret over witch one to get.I would get this gun for the duribility factor but if you are going to buy it you will probally want to buy extra springs, bolts, and have knowledge on how to take the gun apart just to fix the hopper neck lock.This reveiw is just a warning but other than constant repairs and cleaning it is a good gun.
