We are excited to release the new U.S. Army Paintball gun - Project Salvo...an exciting new marker from U.S. Army Paintball featuring a six position collapsible and foldable stock, an AR-15 style shroud with four built-in Picatinny rails and a new AR-15 style magazine that doubles as a helpful toolkit. The marker also incorporates a flat-top Picatinny rail built into the receiver, which makes it simple for players to quickly add a handle, site, scope or a variety of other modifications. The Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball gun is highly upgraded and is sure to turn heads on the field. As an added benefit, the Tippmann Project Salvo paintball gun can be easily enhanced with an eGrip™ as well as several other performance upgrades from the Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series, including: the Cyclone Feed System, Response Trigger and Flatline barrel. Much like Alpha Black, the name selected for this new marker is rooted in U.S. Military history. Project Salvo was a series of tests conducted by the U.S. Army's Operations Research Office (ORO) from the mid to late 1950s. The research obtained through Project Salvo helped lead to the development of the AR-15, which would go on to become the M-16 - widely considered among the most respected and proven rifles ever utilized by the United States armed forces. Overall, the Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball Gun is great for any Beginner to Intermediate paintball player and with a few select upgrades will be a great gun for even the most advanced paintball player.

Pointless Gun to Own January 26, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ga
While it has 98 internals, it's extremely heavy for what it is. Overpriced for the simplicity of it. You might as well buy a 98 or something competitive to a 98. This gun is just a well-presented gun to catch the eye of new budget ballers, but when you get on the field is inefficient in it's role. I was one of them years ago that fell for this. Regretted it and sold it quickly. Seriously the only gun i have ever regretted buying.

The gun is very heavy just by itself. When you add the tank and the hopper it gets 10x worse. Cant really maneuver out on the field. Includes a collapsible stock right out of the box!

Great beginner weapon March 10, 2014
Reviewer: Noel Dixon from new york city
When i first went paintballing with my friend, he let me use his gun since he had two with him. When I used that gun for the first time, i already felt like I was a pro or something. The gun felt sooooo comfortable in my hands and especially in battle. I later on purchased the weapon and I've been playing with the salvo since. I've added a few attachments on it, and it's now and probably will always be my favorite weapon.

nice gun for the price. very easy to maintain. a bit heavy but you will get used to it. unless you run a remote line, the stock is pointless. shoots just like a 98 (because that is what it is on the inside). overall, if you want a gun that does what its supposed to do without the special features and has a nice price, this is the gun to get.
