The Flatline barrel is a good option to get some extended range out of your X7. It definitely does what it advertises. It extends your range quite a bit, but the Flatline seems to be rather picky with what paint you use. Also, the accuracy is only about as good as the stock barrel. Once you find a good paint to barrel match, it definitely helps. Just make sure to keep it clean. Another option, which I think is a better option than the Flatline is the Apex tip from BT.

I would say that this will increase your distance, accuracy appears no better if not worse. It is a PAIN to clean.
