Terrible June 12, 2010

These are the most inconsistent grenades ever! I have yet to see one do what it is supposed to. They either spew everywhere midflight because they hit a fly, or they fail to detonate after they slam to the ground and they get thrown back!

God-awful grenade February 18, 2009

I've had kids bring these to my scenario field for years thinking they've got an instant advantage and something that will be absolutely devastating to the other team. What they really bought was a poor excuse for a grenade. The ball bearing stopper inside is either way too effective, or not at all. I've had kids try to use them only to have them go off in their hands, or throw them only for them to not go off, and be lost. I later found the grenade with my truck when building a new bunker. It took my 2001 gmc sonoma to run it over before it detonated. I suggest an Atomic Ordinance Big Boy instead.

walmart paintball February 4, 2009

Need I say more.  When looking for qualily paintball gear and paint you usually don't look at walmart.  squadbusters are avaialble at most of the wallyworlds in my area.   I have only used these twice and both times they went off in my hand.  I have seen teammates of mine throw them only to have the other team throw them back because they didn't go off.  I like most Tippmann products but this one misses the mark.  It is a good thing that tippmann bought atomic ordanance and now has their name on the big boy grenades

Not good February 1, 2008
Reviewer: Dave from Bel Air, MD United States
So my local shop had these on sale so I figured I would pick up a couple for my next game. I got three and only one of them went off. They are pretty terrible. The one that did work got one guy out out of three that were hiding behind the bunker. I was really disappointed because it sort of spattered a stream of paint instead a stream. The grenade is probably best for pranks. If you can get them for really cheap, you might as well pick up a couple, but that is about the only time you should get these. tippmann really needs to work on better grenades. 2 stars overall. just skip them.
