Description Technical Specs

Tippmann X7 Phenom Assault Electronic Paintball Gun This gun comes with all authentic Tippmann parts. All Tippmann parts are covered under Tippmann's warranty. The Tippmann X7 Phenom paintball gun with FlexValve Technology is the first electro-pneumatic paintball marker to offer the combination of improved air efficiency, superior accuracy, manual or electronic mode firing, and the flexibility of CO2 or compressed air usage. The new FlexValve operates below 300 PSI for improved air efficiency allowing you to get over 1,400 shots from a 68 cubic inch 4500 psi tank. Also, due to its Spool Valve design, recoil is virtually eliminated for improved accuracy. As an added benefit, the Tippmann X7 Phenoms searless design incorporates fewer wear parts, making maintenance easier than ever. Best of all, because this new marker is built around the existing X7 platform, the Phenom which is nearly 3 inches shorter than the X7 can still accept more than 20 current X7 mods and upgrades, including the popular Flatline Barrel. Players have never been offered such a complete package the performance of a tournament marker... the flexibility of a mechanical marker... the durability of a Tippmann... and the ability to customize their marker with thousands of different looks. With the new X7 Phenom priced similar to the current X7 with eGrip, the X7 Phenom truly is in a class of its own. Fantastic marker, great rate of fire, Cyclone keeps up with it no problem, very easy on paint. Have used it multiple times and have yet to have a chop or barrel break. I do recommend a longer barrel for increased accuracy. This model is a bit heavy as well due to the stock.

I LOVE this marker. A little heavy but a fantastic upgrade from an A-5. When you fire the Phenom it sounds loud but if you have a friend, have them fire it and step back. Huge difference than when you are right next to it. Pretty Quiet. Easy to clean and dismantle .

Differently consider an Apex barrel or at least 14"-16" tactical barrel to keep the look going. With the Apex barrel you will need to remove the washer the fits the stock barrel on the extended rail piece.

4 Stars because the board and battery latch are just kind of "thrown in". No real thought into the placement. Can get really dirty, I hope the board will not malfunction. Also the battery cap comes off really easily.

Impressed on the 1st date May 1, 2012

This was my 1st marker.  I liked the fact that it was modeled after one of my favorite carbine rifles; the FN SCAR.  A very versatile marker with a heft to it's build.  You will need to have strong arms to move fast with this thing.  The folding stock makes a big difference with manuervering in situations.  The Phenom shoots smoothly at modest decibel ratings.  Very modular with quad rails for scenario attachments.  I'd recommend a higher rail setting for a scope because it is difficult to aim down the sights with your mask on and with the stock in place.  Having raved about this marker beforehand, it did not shoot right out of the box for me.  However Tippmann really is as good as everyone says about their service.  "Josephine" was upgraded with several new parts and sent back to me promptly free of charge.

**Shipping will be on you, so be mindful of that.

Green light on this purchase.

Handguard April 28, 2011

In the picture, it's the X7's handguard and you get the Phenom's handguard... It's ugly for the look.
