the 2007 rail is the best pick out of all the proto rails! The 08's and 09's cost so much and are not that different. If your looking to spend little money on a novice playing gun then your looking at the right gun. Take my word for it! This gun will shock you on how comfortable it is and how clean it shoots. Plus the fact that it is dead on accurate!

looks great .For $250 or so this gun is amazing. it is probably one of the best guns to buy for under 300 buks. it is a very nice feeling gun to play with. if your just looking to play get this. there are some upgrades to really enhance the performance of this gun. for the price its worth it. its basicly a cheap dye gun.Very accurate and shoots fast! worth the price! higly reccomended for begginers. great speedball or rec ball gun. just an awesome marker and you cant go wrong with proto

This gun is pretty good but I have had a few problems with mine, Also you dont have to but later on you may want to spend money on buying things like a new trigger and backcap for it. The trigger is plastic and the backcap strips so eventully you will need to do this. This gun comes with everything you need to play and is a great starter gun but eventully you probably will want to get a different one.!

Well I purchased this gun and ever since I have I have not turned back from it. It is reliable and great very consistent always working right I love it. Really light i mean i can hardly feel the gun whatsoever when it has air and hopper with paint in it. this gun is great for avid players or new players wanting to play speedball. And a plus it is made by dye so it is so customizable towards making it look like a dye, which by the way are great guns if i did buy a new gun i would buy another proto they are all good and dye did great and prices are really reasonable for the guns preformance. SO I RECOMEND ANYONE NEW OR HAS BEEN PLAYING BUY

Good but not great entry level paintball gun, Does need a upgraded trigger, and a new back cap (because the stock one strips). I have had problems with my gun though, Broke my first time out but hasnt had trouble since then.
