Pods
August 16, 2012
Reviewer: Magilla Gorilla from Lake Forest Park, WA United States
I've seen these called
1. Pods
2. Pots
3. Tubes
4. Cans
Names aside, they all do the same thing, some better than others; some are more expensive than others.
They all break just the same. Buy the cheapest ones you can find for your everyday normal use at the field and you won't go wrong.

When these pods came in the mail out of the box two of the tabs had broken off the lid making them unusable. Ive used them for two days and already the lids are starting to crack at the hinge. Only get these pods if you are on an extreme budget.

Some people claim these are hard to open but I find them just right... They must have woman hands or something. Very durable some of mine have been used hundreds of times. Rarely open unwantedly during a game when in harness loops, when they do open unwantedly its because of a damaged lid. And a added bonus the more you use them the better they open for you weaklings out there!!!
Buy these awesome value, quality, and durability

Ballin' on a budget? WHAAAT?
December 16, 2011
Reviewer: Chris Elliott from Tucker, GA United States
As stated before these pods are from Gen-X Global (GXG), and they are VERY stiff to open. I opened up the top, and shaved the top notch a little bit with some sand paper. They open a lot easier, and still hold closed if I run with paint in the pods. Ergonomics could be better, they were a little difficult to pull out of my pack. More narrow at the bottom and wider at the lid would be great.
Overall, if you are on a tight budget and willing to put in a little bit of elbow grease this will be fine.

Get what you pay for

Reviewer: Jaeger Pascoe from Australia
These pods came free with my NXE harness. These pods are fine for first time players or for a really budget player. But.... They are EXTREMELY hard to open and hurt your thumb when doing so the tab is small and the metal filling that holds the lid onto the pod seems week like the lids are about to fall off. Sturdy plastic though
Just spend the few extra dollars and upgrade.

Really GXG pods
February 1, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I bought these because they were cheap (compared to $5 at sports authority, I like their's better though) and simple; but when I used them during a game, I realised how hard it is to get them open, due to the tab being so small. The tabs on these are comparable to half the size of an outlet prong on an appliance. These are not very good on the field when you are laning, because it takes so long to get to the tab. Hope this helps.
