Use this for casual woodsball play
February 27, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Greensboro, NC
This barrel is great for the casual paintball player, has great build quality, and does exactly what it's advertised to do. However it is NOISY, it'll turn even the quietest spoil valve marker into a cannon, because there's virtually no porting along the barrel (hence 4-star).
Main Con:
I cant recommend this for people running an electronic marker who play aggressively, because a high rate of fire kills this barrel with the number of breaks it causes. The flap tapping the paintballs works better with a slower (mechanical) ROF. (all that aside, the apex2 is fun barrel to own)

Only barrel id ever put on any of my guns.

seriously, whoever came up with the idea of the apex deserves a nobel prize. By far one of the coolest and most versatile barrels on the market. I always figured, whats the point in spending money on a different barrel that does nothing but is say longer then the stock barrel? either way the paintball drops off at the same rate as any other barrel. The apex series of barrels other then the flatline is the only barrel that puts any sort of physical motion on a paintball that can make it go further or spin around corners and do it accurately. Bottom line great barrel, and for the price, its a steal.

This has to be the greatest barrel ive ever used with the extra back spin that the apex2 tip puts on your ball this easily adds some extra distance plus the trick shots if you know how to do them add an interesting twist to the game. ill never use another barrel again...A MUST FOR WOODSBALL!!!

ok first off i use a TM7 and this barrel looks great on it but i wish it was shorter so i could ajust the ramp faster i also wish it had ajustable bore sizes but none of these are deal braker i also like that its tool less open and it looks better then the first apex

Nice!

Nice Barrel. Nice curve. A little front heavy but that helps to perfectly balance my marker! Nice job. Not sure what size the O-rings are though, so be careful when taking them off; Don't snap em!
