Rotor bad paint?
April 15, 2013
Reviewer: DOME from NYS
WHAT are you guys talking about? It only shoots with good paint? My field uses DXS BASIC TRAINING, mine has never jammed. If you touch your paint or mess with it alot, the layer of grease paint has will come off, and that is a common issue for making any loader jam. I really don't think it comes down to paint quality, possibly the paint selection, and how humid it is where you live, or cold and dry excetra. Each hopper do certain things well.
SOLID hopper.

Rotor
February 11, 2013
Reviewer: Tom from PA
I've owned 3 Dye rotors. The first one worked fine for 6 months until it started jamming even with $60 paint. So I thought I just got a bad one and got another. When I got the second the rain (stock) lid was poorly made and would blow open during play so I sent it in for a replacement. When I received the replacement, it worked fine at the tournament I was at (shooting redemption). Two days later I meet up with my team to practice (shooting infinity and all stars) and it jammed up on me all day and I play front, so my day of practice was awful. The rotor is a good IF ur in ideal weather and have the best paint, but who buys the best paint to practice? IMO the best loaders are the Spire and Z2, both shoot even the most garbage paint. I'd go with the Spire because it holds the most paint, weighs the least, is the easiest to clean, has the smallest profile and of the 40 cases of paint that I've put through it I never had a jam. Dont buy the rotor just because everyone else has one!

don't waste your money

let me explain, the rotor is extremely fast and a high quality product but you have to shoot very good paint! don't even think about shooting old paint because it will jam you have to spend at least 50 dollars for a box of paint for this product work right, and if the weather is hot or humid forget about it, it's going to jam all day. I use to have 2 of them and I sold them both and bought a prophecy z2 which solve all of my problems.
I know everybody's argument to this statement is shoot better paint but i'm a rec ball player and sometimes you can't afford it and sometimes you don't want to worry about it, and even when I shot better paint if the weather was crazy it would jam who wants to worry about that. The z2 solved that problem!!

Dye Rotor

I have 5 of them, and all work exceptionally well. Perfect feed, rarely a jam, and with the release lever, it is cleared easily. Feeds perfectly at 12.5 balls per second for tournaments, and has the ability to go up to 20 balls a second if you so desire. Outstanding!

Gen 3 Rotor with the shark fin is a great improvement. Great durability and fast feeding. i have had batteries in the Rotor for over 4 months without using and I got it out, turned it on, and it worked like a charm. Great Product and would recommend me other people.

This hopper hasnt had a singal problem with jamming, keeping up, or looking sexy. Ive used from Heat paintballs to evil and marbalizers. Not one jam at all!!! I live in Las vegas with 100-110 degrees regularly in the summer and has proven to be one of the best!
