Amazing gun! August 23, 2013
Reviewer: Ryan G from Marin, CA United States
Gun is just pretty and flawless.

Pros:
Look and feel of the gun just works for me.
Quiet when shoots
Not much kick
Comes ready to play, doesn't need much tweaking

Cons:
Redline board joystick can be hard to use (minor)
Battery life for redline is not great (minor)
Stock trigger is not my favorite (upgraded to Violent)

Summary:
Great gun out of the box.  Field ready and shoots like a dream.

Really nice July 5, 2013

This gun is truly amazing I almost never chop and the to piece barrel is a nice upgrade. The only problem I have is that the toggle on the board is stating to rip but it still works perfectly fine. Overall it is a great gun

The Empire Axe PPD looks February 9, 2013
Reviewer: Chris Whitney from Salem, OR United States
The Axe that is pictured here is not what you get. I have one, and before ordering it, I was concerned that it would look different, but I was told that it looks like the picture here. I have to report that it looks like the pdd on the empire web site. This is a marker that still looks good, and it performs Outstanding!!! The looks and comments I get on this marker can be left to one word "SICK" (In my five and 15 year old's word's) by many of people I play with. Thank You ANS for the Excellent looking marker. But please let people know that the pdd that is pictured on this site is Incorrect. Was a little Disappointed with that. The 3 star is for the lie on the looks of this marker. The marker performs like a 5 star.  http://bit.ly/133oz0y is a closer representation of what you get. Not what you see here. But the physical colors are a little darker than what is on the Empire web site.

Really solid Axe January 4, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from richmond, VA United States
First of all, as another reviewer said the picture is not a fair representation of the actual product. http://bit.ly/133oz0y  is what you get.

I really like the improved ergonomics on the Redline and overall the marker feels a little better than my other Axe. The joystick and interface on the Redline is a little wonky but it works and once you are used to it is not bad at all. Much easier than the non OLED version.

The barrel is very nice too although the inserts are more difficult to swap in and out than I thought. Maybe there is a trick to it that I have not discovered yet. The included sizes should cover just about every need you could have for all seasons.

I may be a bit biased though but I still say the Axe is the best marker on the market dollar for dollar. This is a great deal for anyone looking to step into a tournament ready marker or looking to upgrade from an entry level marker.

doesn't say "axe", actually has an empire logo January 1, 2013
Reviewer: kleeberg from aton, nh
colors are slightly different from picture displayed by ansgear.  barrel tip matches the silver on the gun, and the engraved logo says empire, not axe.
