Tank is fine, hydro date is no good.
March 22, 2013
Reviewer: Josh from Colorado
These little tanks are great. The only beef I have is that a tank is only good for 5 years before it needs to be tested which costs more han a new tank.
I ordered a half dozen of these and not a single one was good for more than 3 years. It's like they have been sitting way too long.
Kind of disappointed, but I'll make good use of it while I can.

Half Expired

Save your money and buy one that you can see the Re Hydro date. It's right on the bottle from the manufacturer and this one is half way done. Another reviewer describes a similar experience. Otherwise, I'll be carrying it as an ultra light backup. Buyer beware.

Does not require re-hydro

Reviewer: Carlos Coutinho from Seekonk, MA United States
For those who don't know, there is a "2x2" rule. Less than 2 feet long and 2 inches in diameter, you don't need to re-hydro. This applies for HPA tanks too, like a 13ci tank. I have a 4oz tank from 1997 that's still fine.

It's cheap, it's small, it's a tank for C02
August 16, 2012

As the previous poster mentioned, check the Born On date - mine was also already two years into its 5 year lifespan. However, in the remaining 3 years of its life, how often will I be refilling this and using it? For the price I paid, this is well worth it compared to buying scads of C02 powerlets (and having to change them out more frequently). Plus, it is just the right size for my CCI Phantom to position it where my Quick-Change powerlet setup was.

4 oz co2 tank
July 26, 2012
Reviewer: JOY WOHLHETER from cambridge, OH United States
Beware the tank i received was made in October of 2010...That mean my new tank is really 2 years old and that much closer to the rehydro test date which is Oct. 2015. So basically my 5 year tank is really only 3 year tank. I wouldnt care but local rehydro testing costs $35.00, that is more then the tank is worth. On a side note I find it odd this tank even needs rehydro tested because it is 2" or less diameter. None of my 9 oz co2 tanks require retesting why would a 4 oz tank?

Great, handy.
March 16, 2012
Reviewer: F Caleb Christopher from Basehor, KS United States
About the same size as the 50rd pods, this is great to have as a spare for a pocket or pouch. I use it as a primary on my mag-fed BT4 (98 Custom clone), and I get about 150 shots per tank, so it lasts me 4-5 games before refills. With a decent drop forward, it turns the gun into a 1-hander if I want it to be.
LOVE this tank.

These tanks work great for those who play modified stock class (stick feed and constant air).
I use this on my VSC Phantom and it works great. Any larger and the gun just becomes awkward to use.
So to counteract the undeserved 1 star rating, I'm rating this as 5 stars.
