its a spyder March 31, 2014
Reviewer: A1catraz from welland
The mr1 is a good marker out of the box my brother has one i used it the first time it was out of the box and it shot pretty nice i was supprised by it i had a spyder xtra back in the day and this things alot better initially about 5 monthes later i tried it again we play paintball ALOT and keep in mind it wasent cleaned very well just very basic it chops paint constantly , it jams once a hopper or so , i shot the elbow on it and cracked it so get a metal one if you can find one and ive noticed all heavely used spyders on the top of the bolt allways gets all scratched up from rubbing on the gun and its no different here this gun is worth the money to get in to paintball i would recomend this but a tippmann 98 isnt that much more and its a better gun

Get the Rap4 feedneck October 15, 2012
Reviewer: Mark Benjamin from Minneapolis, MN United States
This gun is an accurate and reliable choice right out of the box but rap4 sells a metal feed neck which bolts right on the gun so it won't break and lowers the profile of the gun. The stock isn't great so I wouldn't use it. Great performing gun tho.

It's ok September 10, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
This gun is really great for a beginner. One thing though, get a HPA air system to replace C02. C02 will kill this gun and make you pay a lot of times to get repaired. The gun shoots smooth, but this is definitely not something you want to play on a hyperball/speedball field.

Great starter July 20, 2011
Reviewer: Nick from FREAKING MARS
I owned a 98 custom before this and I bought this off a friend. This gun is miles better than the 98. Double trigger, shoots smooth, you dont have to take the whole thing apart to clean it, and it costs a whole lot less. Probably the best beginner gun on the market for the value. This gun sometimes chops paint, its not often, but a proto primo loader fixed the problem.

GOOD July 20, 2011
Reviewer: Hunter Cronin from NY, United States
its a OK beginner gun. its got an elbow which is very annoying sometimes but is not bad, double trigger is nice, not even close to possibly walking it.. if i had to choose a beginner gun i would get a tippmann 98 custom, if you do get this gun get the e-trigger and a OK hopper
