Not a Bad Gun May 7, 2013
Reviewer: wvhiker from North Carolina
Pros: 1) Light weight, 2) Accurate barrel, 3) Efficient, 4) Good board.
Cons: 1) Louder than most, 2) Trigger so-so.
Overall a good, solid marker. Fairly new to me so I can't say too much about reliability yet or efficiency after break-in but it does feel good in the hands. I got about 6 pods and a hopper on a 3,500 psi fill on my 68/4500 this past weekend. As others have said it is on the loud side. Not ear- drum busting but people take notice. And I am not too crazy about the trigger. The 2 piece barrel that came with my gun was very accurate, which surprised me. Could use a smaller factory back but it was OK for the day. It took me about 10 minutes to get the board. Easy to understand. I'd recommend this marker. I play all styles and it does everything I need it to. Gets 4 stars due to the noise and trigger.

Etek 4 April 16, 2013
Reviewer: Brandon from NW
all i have to say is great gun, easy to set up, easy to clean, looks great and shoots fast and straight. get this over anything proto. after the proto matrix series ended the rails are just sub par. The etek lt doesnt come in more colors because of the composite parts, ANS cant anodize them like they do to the am. most of ans guns tht say exclusive are re anodized voiding the manufactures warranty but ans will back the gun up. anyways this gun over rails or reflex, this and an axe is a hard one...

ge the reflex or the axe over the etek. they both shoot better. unless you cant take care of a gun then apparently the etek is better. i prefer the reflex.1 reflex 2 axe 3etk

Etek 4 LT February 24, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Illinois
My brother bought an etek 4 LT online used and when we got it we wanted to try it out so it shot very well it was smooth and VERY accurate but one con...it's so loud It could burst your eardrums out! He also has a etek 3 LT which in my opinion is no where close to being as loud as the 4..GREAT GUN GREAT MANUFACTURER GET IT! (Get a quieter barrel) just a heads up

This gun is better than you think. January 25, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Houston, TX United States
I've shot a Axe, Etha, & a Etek 4, & I say that the Etek 4 is a better. The only reason why you would want to buy a Axe is because you have enough money for it. The upgrades for the Axe are way over priced except for the Techt bolt for it. The only reason that you would want to buy an Etha is if you are starting paintball as a beginner, and you want a really good marker for a budget, & it's backed up by Planet Eclipse. The Etek 4 is like the budget version of an Ego even though it's an Etek. It has the same parts as an Ego except the board, milling, asa, and bold. I know Empire has a good history with there markers, but Planet Eclipse has an even better history with there's. Plus the Etek 4 is a poppet marker so it's obvious that it's not going to be as smooth as the Axe or Etha, & the trigger action might not be as good as those 2 either but it's obviously more reliable than those 2 markers though. They just work differently and that is the only true difference between these markers.

to clear things up January 9, 2013

Ok so everyone comparing this to an Etha is being rather foolish. This is ment to be a tournament grade gun, an Etha is an entry level marker. This can shoot much more brittle paint than the Etha. If you aren't looking for a tourny gun, buy an Etha, if you are, buy this!
