I just got mine in today i know this might sound a little weird but i got the pro hush bolt from ANS. reason why i gave it a 4 star because i have not try out the bolt yet.

I bought this for my fx and the sound difference isn't what i expected . sound was cut marginally maybe . efficiency increased slightly, all together its a good upgrade but the price should drop. also my package didn't come with the spare bolt o rings so that didn't make it better.

I have been hearing complaints about Tech Ts hush bolt for the fx and how you have to cut the detents to make it work properly and how some people screw it up. You can take a chance cutting them or you can go on Tech Ts website (techtpaintballing.com) and purchase the SOFT TOUCH BALL DETENTS for $6. Comes in a 6 pack and its while your at it just buy the HUSH BOLT PRO for your fx for the same price as this bolt. Hope someone finds this helpful.

I would not recommend this bolt. It did not increase efficiency, nor did it quiet the sound signature!! I dont understand how the others that are raving about it got their results, as, my DP is less efficient now and no quieter than before! Do not Buy!!!!

This product is ammazing. Dont listen to other reviews no bolt stick and over 1000shots so far. The eficiency, consistancy and noise are greatly affected. Yeah you have to cut ball detents i would recomend ordering extra when you order bolt incase you mess up. I miss cut first set. cut second set and works perfect holds ball and very little catch on bolt. With first set misscut(to short) broke ball every 10 or so shots and with them too long bolt sticks this is probably why there is bad reviews. This product along with Law ram makes FX best gun for the money. And if i forgot to mention the noise is reduced by ALOT!!!

The version 2 Hush Bolt solves all the issues of the original TechT Hush Bolt for the DP FX. I had the original bolt and it would get stuck due to the O-ring catching on the inside of the feedneck. I had to try many O-ring sizes to get it to function at all. The new bolt with the angled O-ring does not have this problem. In fact this bolt is ridiculously awesome. My efficiency has improved drastically and the sound signature is significantly reduced. My DP FX is handling business now! Yes you have to cut the detents, no biggie.

you should rather go spend 50$ on a piece of plastic, because that might be more useful than this bolt! I broke about 40 balls out of a half of a bag. It completely destoyed my St!ffi so now i have to buy a new one. And it took up about 2 times as much air as the stock bolt and it got like 3 times louder. Dont even think about buying this bolt!

i love this upgrade for my FX.. this bolt it helps smooth out the gun, quiets the gun ..remember ..if it sticks (which my did ) just change the middle o ring..and you should fix the problem.. good bolt....

My advice is to not get this bolt. I bought it and right away you have to cut the detents to size... you payed fifty bucks, why doesnt it come the right size??? The o-rings get caught on the feedneck constantly. It is just a complete disappointment and waste of money. Stupid engineering by tech t
