Worst Upgrade for FX February 23, 2011

Total Waste of Money. After about 50 shots the bolt would either get stuck forward or cause major chops. Stick with the stock bolt, no chops & still efficient roughly 9 pods on a 68/45.

Don't do it! February 6, 2011

My friend bought this bolt and I thought I would wait to see how his did before I bought one. He was out half the day from problems with gun. First off this bolt DOES NOT make the gun quieter (we checked) a sound guy had a decibal (spelling?) meter and it did not change from 1 gun to the next. Second he had major ball breaks when the gun was working. Third it was not more air effecient than mine it was about the same as before. Fourth trying to change back to the orignal bolt was a huge pain, trying to get the pin out of the Hush Bolt was nearly impossiable we had to break the bolt just to remove the pin and put the old one back in. Once we did that his gun returned to normal no more ball breaks and started shooting like a dream again.

If you are thinking about upping Your FX get this bolt it helps smooth out the gun, quiets the gun and makes it that much more efficient!   It make your FX just that much better!

Good Bolt - worth a look December 16, 2010
Reviewer: IronHelixx from Houston, TX United States
Well made bolt that was very easy to install and actually does seem to quite the FX down some.  Efficiency does seem to slightly improve with this bolt over the stock one but I need to test some more to determine just how much in detail.  I did have the middle o-ring snag and slice in the breech on the very first test shot (even with plenty of fresh lube) and had to push the bolt back manually.  After replacing the o-ring I have not had another single snag.  The install method is the same as the Etek3 Hush bolt (TechT does not have an FX specific install video up as of today).   All-in-all seems to be worth the price.  PS - the little TechT "Jewel" sticker they give you to put on the back of the bolt does not seem to stay put very well but is only for looks, just FYI.
