I bought these a year ago for only $50 and it was still the 500 ct. They were great in my original gun setup which was a 2007 mokal aura and evlution 3 hopper which fed them but never as fast as a normal paintball. but once i upgraded to a v35 halo they were too heavy to feed at all and caused the hopper to repeatedly jam and every force feed style hopper i tried since struggled to feed these. so in the end they turned out to be a waste of money for me

I know we have to make money and this is a leisure sport most kids can't afford but I am in manufacturing and these can't cost more than 1-2 cents a piece, this is crazy. I know it saves money in the long run but how stupid is this?

The reason they are more expensive than regular paintballs, is because over time, they save you the cost of buying and buying case after case of paint. If you have these for 3 years, you'll save a fortune in paint. So, all in all, the price is fair. They do their job, and are reusable.
