I buy this mask expecting some flashy looking color, but was surprised that the neon yellow does not look that bad. It adds a bit of bright color to the typically gaudy jersey outfit. It adds a touch of sprezzatura to the whole jersey getup and sets it apart from the other masks.
I was told by the DYE users that this mask causes impaired hearing and muffled speech or something. I'm pretty sure they never actually wore them because I have never experienced loss of hearing w/ the padded ears.
The foam is very soft and the fit very snug, it almost feels like wearing a motocross helmet. The yellow + gradient lens looks very good, and people at the fields always compliment me about the mask.. even though theres always other sly masks there. I guess the glossy yellow and black gets their attention.
There is also some ventilation interference in the lower breathing vents. It wasnt a problem for me in this season, but it could be during the summer when it gets very hot.
Excellent mask for the price I paid.
