well, as you all should know, the stock tippmann barrels are horrible. so, i went to my local pb shop and saw these. the owner told me they were pretty accurate, so i decided to get it in a 20 inch cuz lets face it, nothing looks more badass than 20 inches out in front of an a5. not the greatest decision though. although it was much better than the stock barrel, my friend's 16 for his 98c was more accurate. anyways, it's a great looking barrel, it shoots in a relatively close grouping [for using an a5], and it's cheap. a great barrel for a beginner just wanting a cheap improvement. make sure, since it's a one-piece, it matches the paint well.

This barrel is VERY accurate. I was playing against people with flatlines, boomsticks, freak kits, and other top line barrels. The smart parts barrel was just as good as most of them, and was even better than some. The progressive barrel is just as good as barrels that cost well over $100, but it only costs $50. It is a good investment, but if you get it, it is very important to find paint that works good for it. If the paint is the wrong size, it will either break in the barrel, or will be very inaccurate because the ball will bounce around in the barrel and shoot out at a bad angle. This barrel, just like any other, is only accurate if you use the right paint.

well im not a big fan of smart parts in the first place but i gotta say for the price they did a decent job on this barrel. the porting is fairly quiet. i have had this barrel in 16 and 14 inch sizes and both were fairly accurate for a 1 piece. well your shooting decent paint this barrel is pretty accurate but if your looking to get a better closer to ball on ball accuracy with a barrel i would suggest an ultralite for a little bit more money overall tho i gotta say its a decent barrel
