Open the quick release lever, insert the hopper, hand-tighten the thumbscrew and then close the lever. No tools needed. The Q-Lock has an abrasive internal surface to securely hold any hopper in its place.

This feed neck is excellent. When I first installed it on my promaster, I notice it only came off the gun about a half of an inch. I thought wow, this will make the gun even more low profile. In fact I had to cut a little bit of my feedneck of my egg off. I like it the most because it lock the hopper in well and there are no tools required to tighten it. Just twist a knob.
