Spyder MR5-E April 1, 2016
Reviewer: Alexander Alfonso from Yonkers, NY United States
I've just recently got into paintball and this is my first marker. I have to say that I am rather impressed. Build quality is awesome. Feels nice and sturdy. I've shot the marker a few times and so far no complaints. I do advise getting an E-hopper. I'm running a Halo Too and it gets the job done without breaking the bank. The only complaint I have (Hence the 4 stars) is that modifying the barrels for the MR5-E can be a little costly. Only barrels specifically made the MR5 will work. This is due to the dual load system. In order to get a spyder threaded barrel to work on this gun, you have to purchase an after market adapter for an additional 50 bucks.

Other than that though, the product is great. Shoots well, haven't had a broken ball yet. The gun is extremely loud though so just be aware of that. Well worth the 150 bucks in my opinion.

Keep shooting the wipers March 20, 2016

This gun does the job well for the price. But the thing it you need like 40-50 dollar paint because it will chop and get jam if you use cheap paint. Also this gun is really really REALLY LOUD.

Great gun but you need upgrades. November 13, 2014

Its a great gun but will chop paint if your hopper does not feed fast enough. This gun is sensitive to broken paint and will lock up. It is easily solved by removing the barrel wiping it and the putting it back in.

great marker February 22, 2013
Reviewer: TJR from BAYTOWN, TX United States
Love the marker. Has weight to it like a real gun & does get tiring holding it up in the field. Suggest a sling for it. Also sounds nice when shooting & has a light kick. Fun marker to shoot because of all these aspects that immerses you more into milspec type shooting. The 3 modes are pretty cool to w/ my fav 3 rd burst. It's hard on paint since the bolt has lots of force. The clip is a really cool feature to use. When I run out of hopper paint I’ll switch to my clip until I can reload my hopper. Works great in an intense field battle. The marker also shoots really straight and seems to be holding around 275 fps when shooting. I didn’t seem to get much more out of it than 275 fps which is fine since fields are 280-300 fps range anyway. I would recommend this marker to anyone getting started or intermediate level paintball shooters. It takes a beating and keeps on working . It is also easy to take apart and clean which is a plus.
Check it out and I hope this review helps.
