One of the best Woodsball Markers out there |

I've only used the A5 a few times, but it is clearly a worthy successor to the 98's legacy. The A5 is just as reliable as its predecessor (well, after charging the hopper becomes a habit), and never seems to break down. I've used several and all were heavily upgraded, with a lot of custom mods. For barrels, I prefer the Apex over the Flatline, but mainly because it's just easier to clean. Although I'm not a big fan of remote hoses, they're a pretty nice thing to have considering the weight of the A5, which can get pretty tiring with a metal HPA tank. Like most woodsball guns, it's fairly hard on paint, so I suggest using something hard-shelled.

A tad disappointing... |

Not a terrible gun for an entry-level player by any means. It comes with the popular Cyclone feeder which is surprisingly fast and there are a TON of attachments you can get for A5's or really any Tippmann marker for that matter. My problem is that the Cyclone feed uses air to operate, so it makes your marker miserably inefficient. It doesn't take long for it to go through an entire CO2 tank (assuming you aren't using HPA which I have never seen used with a Tippmann). They are decent guns to use as loaners when you have a birthday party or something like that, but in my opinion the price does not represent the quality of the product. The marker is also very heavy. I don't mean to bash this thing, but it is definitely a preference thing if you like mech markers, but you can get a lot cooler things for a lot cheaper.

The Tippmann A5 E Is a very easy gun to use and it is fun to play with . It is not bad for the price and I think it a good beginners gun. I recommend this gun to any one who is looking for a woods gun. This gun is my favorite gun to use.

the tippman is a great gun to buy!! you can shoot the gun through water, mud and all kinds of other things some other guns cant shoot through!! the only thing about the a5 and other tippmans is that they are heavy!! theyre like bulletproof because of how heavy they are!! but all in all these guns are perfect for people getting into paintball!

I currently own a Tippmann A5, and a Smart Parts SP1. I use the A5 as my main marker, as I find it to be more accurate, powerful, and just a more fun marker to use.
Pros: It is EXTREMELY customizable. You can do a lot to these guns. They have many aftermarket performance upgrades, that allow the marker to become a complete beast. The marker has a great solid design, and is great quality.
Cons: The cyclone feed is my biggest problem. If you run co2 on this marker in weather below 5c, then your asking for trouble. The cyclone won't cycle, and it is a real pain. This can be remedied by using HPA, however.
All in all, a great marker! 4 out of 5 stars.
