The new XVR takes Tippmann performance to an entirely new level and was developed based on feedback and suggestions secured by the company from speedball players worldwide. The result is an exciting new paintball marker specifically designed to deliver during tournament-style play.

The XVR is packed with performance features including FlexValve Technology, which allows operation under 300PSI and is very efficient, reduces recoil, and improves accuracy. The XVR also features an internal gas line, three position selector switch that can be changed from electronic to mechanical operation on the fly, center feedneck with locking clamp, and break-beam anti-chop eyes. The XVR is dual air compatible which gives you the ability to add a front vertical regulator when using an aftermarket on/off ASA. The magnetically activated hall-effect electronics provides 6 firing modes including Safety Full-Auto, 3-Shot Burst, NPPL, PSP, Millennium, Auto-Response or Semi-Auto.

Add Tippmann’s unrivaled 2-year warranty, the fact that it’s made in the USA and yes, you can still “crossover” into the woods. Best of all, at $429 the XVR upgrades your game … without emptying your pocket.

So and so marker November 18, 2015

I've used it twice. It is a nice marker with all necessary the upgrades included. I love the on/of switch on the side. Its easy to remember to turn of safely when the play is over. Tippmanns manufacturing quality however seems to bee not so great. ASA threads was delivered dented, on the handle one of the logos is peeling of, also other the soft materials on the grip is also pealing of. Remember to take out the battery before opening up the marker for maintenance, the circuit board will get fried!

Great gun, great performance October 17, 2015

Tried out my XVR for the first time and was ecstatic by its performance! After reading many reviews and watching many videos, I decided to go with the purchase. I have had a Tippmann 98 for over 14 years and it served me well. The XVR I have no doubt will do the same. Great accuracy even with substandard paint. Easy to clean, easy to load. I did shoot more paint with this gun because of the light trigger. I'm used to the 98, so this had me firing faster and easier. Make sure you read the manual thoroughly. Worth the price. You can't go wrong with Tippmann

Great marker for the price! March 22, 2015

Like most Tippmann guns it has very good reliable performance, low and easy maintenance, and very durable. Performs flawlessly in rain and snow. I love how they kept the selector switch on their tourney marker very cool! You won't see that on any other tourney marker out there plus with it being A-5 threaded and coming with a freak adapter you have a lot of great barrel options for this gun. However the one thing I do not like about this gun is the ASA, but I just keep it twisted up so the tank powers the gun when I thread it in. Highly recommend you do 3 things after getting this marker
1. Take out the trigger spring for a slightly more responsive trigger in semi.
2. Get the tech t MRT bolt for this.
3. If you also plan on using it for tourney ball I'd highly recommend getting the virtue LED board they make for the Crossover to enhance the overall general performance of the gun. Overall this is a fun reliable marker to use and would recommend it.
