This isn't a tournament grade marker, but if you're looking for a great performing recreational/woodsball gun at a good price, then look no further. Cons: For me, the trigger (bought a trigger upgrade)and cyclone can tend to skip a few balls sometimes (Lapco paddles fix this easy). Pros: Air efficient. Decent stock barrel. LOW recoil (I was surprised). Tippmann durability and easy maintenance. If you're on the fence about this one, you shouldn't be.

A Great Marker

Pros: Can Use CO2 or HPA, Cyclone Feed (no need for an expensive E-hopper), Upgradeable to an extreme (most Orig. X7 mods fit, plenty for the Phenom), Smooth shooting, Sear-less, Closed-Bolt.
Cons: Cyclone is upgraded but not perfect, stock barrel isn't amazing.
Other Thoughts: This marker is fundamentally different than Tippmann's other markers. It's a sear-less spool valve design. The cyclone can chop balls yes, remedied easily with any set of squishy paddles. If you hate the cyclone, remove it, and mod for a RipClip lolz. To the guys below me who took off for CO2 Freezing (in cold temps) and putting the gun down without any facts: GG guys.

Amazing gun

Ok this gun is amazing right of the box it shoot relatively strait but like any gun you may buy straitness of your shots are due to a lot of factor and not just the gun.It is compatible with a lot of the mods of the previous version of the x7. The new flexvalve gives this x7 more consistency to your shot because of the air regulator built in it. Oh and when they say the gun gives no recoil, I barely sense anything when shooting.
I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because when cold time arrives under 3 Celcius its out of the question using co2 even with a remote line, because liquid co2 which take more time to become a gaz at cold temperature enters your valve and froze it to the point that you can't shoot until the co2 becomes a gaz. For higher temperature this isn't a problem.
So overall after using this gun for a couple months I can say that this gun is awesome and is worth buying it. If you liked the previous x7 or a5 you will like this gun.

Best Woodsball Marker Ever Made...

This marker is amazing for the price and I have used it for about a year now and it still keeps up and works amazing. This thing has no recoil and feels great when I shoot it. The cyclone feed hasn't had any problems like people say they do, but maybe thats just for the A5. I've dropped this thing about 10 times because I'm so clumsy and it hasn't done anything to the performance. This thing is built like a tank and is the most customizable marker that you can get. I've put many upgrades on this and it looks VERY intimidating. If you want something that will last you forever and will keep up with the competition, get the X7 Phenom.
