I bought the smoke lens for my profiler to replace my ruined clear lens. For some reason the top coating/film on my clear lens started to flake off.
Anyway, this lens did its job....for a while. After using it only half a dozen separate days and keeping very good care of it (i wrap my mask in a microfiber cloth) I'm already seeing scratches. There's even a circular impact scratch mark from where a ball hit the lens. I can still see out of it fine and will continue to use it for maybe another month or two.
I'm a bit hesitant now to buy the more expensive mirrored lenses fearing they may become damaged just as quickly as this one did. Overall, its a great lens for a great mask. The tint is significantly darker than the clear lens, although not completely blacked out. I don't recommend using it in low light games. The speedball field I play at has stadium lights at night so the tint really helps in breaking up the glare from the blinding lights.
