These soft paddles will decrease the the amount of ball breakage within the Cyclone. Soft paddles also allow players to shoot at an increased rate of fire with no problem. These paddles are interlocking, meaning that both the upper paddle and lower paddle fit together and won't slap during use

So I have a set of these in my 98c with cyclone and etrigger .

The older cyclones had super hard paddles that anything above 10bps would destroy paint (mine is from 2009... I forgot when I bought it) tossed in a set of these in 2010 after I put in the etrigger and I love them in the 98c .

That being said in my phenom ANY squishy paddle destroyed paint (a 98c with etrigger can't cycle fast enough to see this) but the phenom was firing at such a high bps that the squishy paddles would actually allow to much flex and deflection and destroyed paint (it was a super high bps I wasn't running a trigger spring on the techt fang to get more bounce ... You couldnt breath in it). Even shooting slow the cyclone still made soup in my phenom

The tippmann A5 is already bonkers when it comes to reliability and accuracy (with a good barrel). But occasionally you will chop a ball and ruin your day. With this paddle upgrade you will never chop a ball again. I mean it. never again. Whenever i buy a new A5 this is the number one thing to get with it. Treats your paint much nicer than the standard hard paddles.
I've used an A5 since my first years of paintball, easily put 50 cases of paint through those markers and never had a ball chop once. not even once. do yourself a favor and grab this item.
