Description Technical Specs

We are excited to release the new U.S. Army Paintball gun - Project exciting new marker from U.S. Army Paintball featuring a six position collapsible and foldable stock, an AR-15 style shroud with four built-in Picatinny rails and a new AR-15 style magazine that doubles as a helpful toolkit. The marker also incorporates a flat-top Picatinny rail built into the receiver, which makes it simple for players to quickly add a handle, site, scope or a variety of other modifications. The Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball gun is highly upgraded and is sure to turn heads on the field. As an added benefit, the Tippmann Project Salvo paintball gun can be easily enhanced with an eGrip™ as well as several other performance upgrades from the Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series, including: the Cyclone Feed System, Response Trigger and Flatline barrel. Much like Alpha Black, the name selected for this new marker is rooted in U.S. Military history. Project Salvo was a series of tests conducted by the U.S. Army's Operations Research Office (ORO) from the mid to late 1950s. The research obtained through Project Salvo helped lead to the development of the AR-15, which would go on to become the M-16 - widely considered among the most respected and proven rifles ever utilized by the United States armed forces. Overall, the Tippmann Project Salvo Paintball Gun is great for any Beginner to Intermediate paintball player and with a few select upgrades will be a great gun for even the most advanced paintball player.

4 of 5 I have an issue November 18, 2020
Reviewer: Ethan
I’ve used the gun 1 time and it worked great, I went to use it the second time and every time I shot a paintball it made this loud metal against metal banging sound, it wasn’t a normal sound like the first time I used it and the referee even came over and said it didn’t sound right either, he said it sounded like an over pressurized and at this point I don’t know what’s wrong with it and can’t find anyone or where that can help me, what do you think

4 of 5 Great gun with a Great Feel January 3, 2019
Reviewer: Christopher Soto from Plainfield, IL United States
i would give this gun a 8/10 but first let me tell u the pros.... first the gun offers a great feel as well as a great shot, also as being a tippmann gun it also is a very durable gun at that just wish it had more to it "just me" when u get the gun theirs only 2-3 upgrades you can get which isnt bad but i just wish it offerd more but for the price your paying you are getting a great gun but thats it nothing special just a fun gun that shots straight and it comes with a basic barrel and a feed neck and a folding stock, not to mention its a pretty heavy gun, so for the little guys out there be careful its about 10-15ish and that can heavy after a few hours trust me, but over all its a great gun but with nothing else after which is ok but "not for me"

5 of 5 First tippmann August 16, 2018
Reviewer: Steven Montoya from Sonora, CA United States
This was the first Tippmann I owned and upgraded it is a fun but heavy gun it's a good starter for anyone looking to get into the woods ball scene and not have a flimsy gun. It is Tippmann reliable so you don't have to worry about cleaning it after every single game and will be a good little work horse for a up and coming woodball player for sure. You can also make a nice little sniper out of it with all the rails on it so that's kind of nice and versatile as well.

4 of 5 Great Starter August 15, 2018
Reviewer: Paul Walters from Highland, CA United States
The project salvo was my first marker great gun to start out with. I found myself replacing a few internal parts after a few hardcore uses. This marker is my goto when and if any of my new guns start acting up. If you're looking to get into paintballing this is a great way to start any tippmann would be a great gun to start with.
